Shareholders of both banks approve the merger

TIRANA, Dec. 21 – Bank shareholders voted last week to approve the merger of the Bank of Albania with Banka Italo Albanese under the corporate umbrella of the American Bank of Albania(ABA).

The merged bank will begin operating as one legal entity as of the 1st of January 2008 under the name American Bank of Albania.
