Voices on a Cabinet reshuffle

TIRANA, Jan. 7 – Governing Democratic Party lawmaker Pre硚ogaj and head of the smaller coalition Christian Democratic Movement, Nikolle Lesi, demanded a cabinet reshuffle so the coalition can win the 2009 general elections.
Zogaj argued that victory in the 2009 elections were threatened by the current cabinet was not being wholly representative of the Albanian electorate, suggesting that changes should be made in the ministries headed by some coalition allies, such as the Ministry of Defense, Public Health, Education and Environment.
Lesi, who created his movement after abandoning the Christian Democratic Party (DCP) headed by Health Minister Nard Ndoka, stressed that Prime Minister Sali Berisha should make the necessary changes in order to forge a new Government image for the 2009 general elections.
Vice head of the Republican Party and also Deputy Minister of Economy Minister. Neritan Alibali, said his party was against any cabinet reshuffle adding, in case of a change they would ask for more executive posts.
