TIRANA, Jan.22- Finance Minister Ridvan Bode has introduced the new head of the Taxation Authorities, A. Sefgjini, saying that the new target to collect is $ 400 million more tax revenues than in 2007. Bode has also presented the new profit tax scheme, in which profits will be calculated according to reported revenues and which will prevent fiscal evasion. The profit tax was lowered from 20 percent to 10 percent when the flat tax became effective on Jan.1, 2008. (Tirana Times Staff)
