TIRANA, Feb.12- Jane Armitage, director and regional coordinator for Southeastern Europe at the World Bank declared that the government should seriously consider how to protect the poorest categories of the society form the new higher prices of energy. Armitage visited the sites of some energy investments and stressed the importance of increasing local production. The WB is one of the largest donors in the field of agriculture. Armitage was presented with some success stories of the ‘competitive grant’ scheme which assist agricultural production.
