TIRANA, Feb.26- Following the presentation of the draft budget of 2008 about the municipality of Tirana, mayor Edi Rama held a public hearing with citizens at the main hall of The Theatre of Opera. Cleaning and waste management are going to be the top priority with 32 percent of the budget allocated to the purpose, followed by infrastructure. The later will include projects about the main city ring road and other roads as well as a special focus on the rehabilitation of the squares such as Strauss and “21 Dhjetori.” A special project also aims at the complete rehabilitation of the national park of the city by the artificial lake which will be turned into an urban beach.
