Strabag acquires 51 percent stake in Albanian construction company

VIENNA, Feb. 25 – The Austrian construction company Strabag SE (STR.VI) announced last week that it has acquired a 51 percent majority stake of the Albanian builder Trema Engineering 2 sh. p.k. that will keep the remaining 49 percent stake.
Trema Engineering owner, Ilir Trebicka, will keep the remaining 49 percent stake. Trema is among the top three construction companies in Albania, employing 230 people and with sales of 19 million Euros in 2006. The purchase price will not be made public, Strabag said.
