TIRANA, March 10 – Albanian Interior Minister Bujar Nishani met Monday with the Kosovar Minister of Public Affairs, Arsim Bajrami, to discuss ongoing reforms of the public administration of the newly-created state. Nishani introduced his Kosovar counterpart to reforms undertaken by Tirana authorities and the drafting of the new law on civil service, the transfer of powers and to local authorities and other issues.
Bajrami said Kosova’s main challenges were the modernization of the administration’s information technology, population census and approximation of the country’s laws to those of the European Union.
