3 officials arrested on corruption charges

DURRES, April 4 – Three officials in the western port city of Durres were arrested after being accused of selling property certificates.
Brikena Cato, 24, of the mortgage office, Shpetim Canin, 41, and Violeta Xhyvelja, 46, working as mediators, were arrested after it was determined they assisted in the sales of ownership certificates for property. (Tirana Times Staff)
