Albanians becoming more pessimists about the future

TIRANA, May 7- According to the
latest IDRA survey on the perception of
corruption in Albania, the Albanians are
becoming more pessimistic about the
economic development in 2009. According
to the survey, economy remains
the main concern of the Albanians.
60.4% of the respondents answered that
they considered the Albanian economy
as “bad or very bad”, a 13% from the
last survey conducted in 2006. Asked
to compare the economic developments
during the current year with the previous,
54% answered that the situation this
year is worse. The Albanians are more
pessimistic about the future also. 28%
of the respondents or 16% more than in
2006 answered that they think the economic
situation next year is going to
