Tourism season draws police attention

TIRANA, June 13 – Interior Minister Bujar Nishani, police official Ahmet Prenci and other senior officials have met to review the preparations of all institutions and police forces to cope with the large influx of people entering the country during the tourist season. Border management remains a top priority, not only to speed the arrival of hundreds of thousands of tourists, but also to maintain control and not permit illegal human and drug or weapon trafficking.(Tirana Times Staff)
