First week of Spanish cinematography in Fier

The Spanish embassy in Tirana in collaboration with the Municipality of Fier organizes the First week of Spanish Film in Fier. This week’s movies are all focused on the life of famous Spanish artists such as De Goya, Antonio Lopez, Camaron etc.
Starting the first week of Spanish cinematography, “Camaron”, a biographical movie of Hose Monhe Kruth “Camaron de la Isla”, the genius who revolutionized flamingo, and made it what it is today. This movie closely looks at his works of art, his recognition as an artist at the national and international level, how he influenced the young musicians at the time, and how he broke taboos. Camaron goes through three stages: the discovery, confirmation and the end. Throughout each of these there are references to other artists of the flamingo, like Pako de Luthia, Tomatito, Pako Thepero, etc. What is more, the movie deals with his life in general, his love life, his relationship with drugs at a young age, and more.
The next movie to follow will be “Goya in Burdeos” (Goya en Burdeos), telling the story of famous artist Francisko de Goya. At the age of 82, he migrates to Burdeos with his latest girlfriend. Here he engages in a retelling of his life to his daughter Rozario. He tells her about the events that made his life. A life filled with political scandals, passion, and fame. These stories will tell the public about Goya’s life, his adventures, his games of seductions, etc. We will also be reminded on his one and true love, the Duchess de Alba, whose existence will be destroyed by the venom of the intrigues.
