TIRANA, Sep 13 – Albanian Interior Minister Bujar Nishani and the Norwegian ambassador to Tirana, Carl S. Wibye, signed the repatriation agreement for unauthorized persons and also another agreement on visa facilitation.
Albania was the first country to sign the repatriation agreement with the European Union, which prodded Brussels to ease visa restrictions for the country.
As a practical matter, the agreement means that Albania will accept as citizens all Albanians living abroad who are found without proper documentation.
The two countries added that these agreements would provide great support in the fight against illegal trafficking.
