Oct 15. The third operator of mobile phoning in Albania, Eagle Mobile, reached its 100 thousand member on October 13, 2008, just 8 months after it’s introduction in the market, 5 months after the introduction of the Proring program for businesses, corporations and institutions, and 1 month after it launched it’s successful Riniring offer for youth customers. The lucky customer received an “I Phone G3” from Ali Taskin, Chief Executive of Eagle Mobile, in an official ceremony held in the company’s headquarters in Tirana. Taskin thanked the newest customer, who can now use his new phone to enjoy all the latest services Eagle Mobile has to offer.
“We expected to be successful, but we never anticipated such interest from the Albanian public. We accomplished in just 8 months, what others accomplished in 2-3 years. Despite all the difficulties experienced, such as creating the company and entering the market, Eagle Mobile managed to change Mobile phony market in a way that falls nothing short of a revolution,” said Taskin in a media conference.
