TIRANA, March 3 – The 6th Ministerial Conference on Border Security Cooperation in Southeast Europe is expected to be held in Belgrade, Serbia this week where interior ministers of Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and three EU member states — Italy, Slovenia and the Czech Republic – are to discuss the completion of key goals determined under the Ministerial Declaration of March 2006.
The delegations will present reports on the achieved results in integrated border management in 2008 and are also to discuss the implementation of strategies in the 2009-2011 period.
They are also to sign the ministerial declaration, bilateral agreements and the annual plan for 2009.
