PERMET, KORCA, March 3 – A 23-year old man was arrested in southern Permet while he was trying to illegally cross three persons into neighboring Greece, for the rate of 700 Euros each.
Aleksander Zhaka was arrested late at night earlier this week at Bodar village, Permet district.
In another operation police destroyed a gang of traffickers who collected people from central Albania to illegally cross them into Greece for a payment of 800-10000 Euros each.
Police arrested in Korca Ilirjan Bardhushi, 41, Gjergji Gavri, 40, Melsi Bylyku, 26, and Mustafa Eshi, 45, while another person named Mariglen Qylalli, 24, was declared at large. They were collected clandestine from Korça, Kavaja and Elbasan, some of whom were stopped while being transported to Devoll.
