TIRANA, April 19 – Police arrested 16 persons involved in digitally stealing programs.
The 16 persons were involved in stealing sport TV programs and others received through paid satellite.
They stole codes from Tring, Digitalb, Premier League, Sky, Nova and other sport events, falsified the cards, and then sold them to common customers for 250-300 Euros.
Police confiscated many desktops, laptops and other equipment sold by the arrested individuals.
Police also called on all Albanians to be careful when buying such services.
Their arrest in Tirana, Durres, Shkodra, Fier, Vlora, Berat and Korca followed a five-month investigation from police and prosecutors following some complaints last November.
