ODIHR commends police behavior in elections

TIRANA, July 21 – The OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission commended Albanian police for their behavior during the election process of June 28.
In a letter sent by one of their experts they considered highly the, “excellent cooperation shown to the EOM during the recent parliamentary elections.” They said that police training on election duties was a major part of their success.
“The professionalism and dedication shown by the police on duty during this period was commendable, there were no detrimental reports with regard to police activity submitted by any of the Long Term or Short Term observers,” said the letter.
