TIRANA, July 28 – Health authorities appealed to the population not to panic and get frightened from the swine flu as it had only minor effects in the country.
Authoriteis said 13 persons were found positive with the virus, two were hospitalized and only one was treated with tamiflu. Five had come back from other countries and all were of the age from 15 to 61 years old. They also said they possessed all the required amount of the tamiflu, the curing medicine, that would be offered for free to any individual.
But they also asked the people not to buy tamiflu and use it privately as it had second effects. Health authorities said they had treated only two persons with tamiflu while all the others had easy cases of the flu. Albania has had four positive tested cases of the flue and is also checking other ones.
