The new company will serve in Herat under Italian command on the eve of the Aug. 20 elections, considered very important for that country, according to a statement from the Foreign Ministry. Albania, a small, predominantly Muslim nation on the Adriatic that became a NATO member in April, also has deployed a unit of 69 troops in Bosnia.
