TIRANA, March 3 – The government decided Wednesday to open new embassies in many countries in Europe and the Arab world.
The cabinet decided in its meeting to open new embassies in Belgium, Slovakia, Bosnia Herzegovina and also in Qatar, Kuwait and United Arab Emirates.
Prime Minister Sali Berisha also said that new embassies were expected to be open in other countries in the future such as in Mexico, South Africa, Australia, Norway, Estonia and Pakistan.
Tirana is trying to increase its presence around the world despite its limited financial capacities, said the premier.
