TIRANA, May 16 – The Zeta Gallery in Tirana is showcasing a set of pictures young talented photographer Sara Capaliku has taken during her trips in Europe featuring various landscapes and architectures. The Underground exhibition curated by Zef Paci will remain open until May 19.
“This cycle of pictures was perceived during a tourist trip of the author somewhere in Europe, where you have the opportunity to watch architectures and landscapes of all kinds. From this intensive experience, Sara Capaliku has left aside everything about the image offered to the square and proudly to the public and stepped down to explore and capture the underground image,” says Zef Paci, the curator of the exhibition.
Open since 2007, the Zeta centre is a non- profit center focused on visual arts that promotes collaborative, professional practices between the artists and curators, critics, researchers and other art professionals in order to contribute to the establishing of an active contemporary art scene in Albania. During the past 4 years, it has been hosting solo exhibitions by Albanian and international artists and has been a partner of important contemporary art events in Albania such as Artist Talk and Artist in Residency in cooperation with Tirana Institute of Contemporary Arts.
