Brother shoots sister’s fiancé dead

TIRANA, July 19 – Gëzim Marku, 34, on Sunday evening was shot dead by Artur Lleshi, 22, who was allegedly trying to prevent his sister’s engagement to the victim from breaking up.
The shooting happened near downtown Tirana when Marku and Lleshi, together with Marku’s sister, were at a bar on Don Bosko Road.
It was believed they had drunk a lot and quarreled with each other as Lleshi was allegedly trying to keep Marku and his sister engaged.
Marku was shot dead with a pistol and Lleshi later left. He is at large and police have set up a reward of 5,000 euros, for any information on him.
