TIRANA, Nov. 5 – Mark Grote, a distinguished visual arts professor of the U.S. Loyola University New Orleans is the curator of an “Images & Objects” exhibition featuring works by art students in Tirana.
The exhibition which will open at the FAB gallery of the University of Art from Nov. 6 to 15 is showcasing ceramic, textile and sculpture works by 18 students of the Fine Arts Faculty.
Mark Grote, who in 2014 was awarded the Edward & Adelaide Benjamin Distinguished Professorship, has exhibited his work both nationally and internationally. He will be doing artist residencies fall of 2015 in Albania and Ireland. His work is placed in many public and private collections. He has lectured at several universities throughout the United States and England.
