TIRANA, Nov. 9 – Albania’s minister of justice, Nasip Naà§o, has submitted his resignation, citing “personal reasons,” multiple sources report.

Naà§o is a member of  the Socialist Movement Integration Party, headed by Ilir Meta, the junior coalition party of the Socialist Party-led governing coalition.

Meta told reporters Monday that he valued Naà§o’s contribution in the government and thanked him for his work as minister, confirming the resignation.

Naà§o was leading government efforts in a proposed major reform of the country’s justice system.

Ylli Manjani, the SMI deputy leader, is set to replace Naà§o, according to local media, indicating there won’t be a change in the coalition’s formula in splitting cabinet seats between SP and SMI.
