This art exhibition, entitled ‘Through the Centuries’, will be brought to the public by the Ministry of Culture and the National History Museum, and will showcase popular musical instruments used in the Albanian territory during the XIX-XX centuries. All these instruments belong to Ermal Sela’s private collection.
This collection consists of 170 popular musical instruments, including idiophone, membranophone, aerophone and chordophone instruments. Everything will be displayed with accompanying explanations and pictures.
Ermal Sata is a famous Albanian artist and instrumentalist, who has previously worked as a coordinator at the Albania Brass Festival, bassist, and instrumentalist in many different events.
