Academicians from Kosovo, Macedonia and Montenegro in Albania

TIRANA, May 2 – Prime Minister Sali Berisha received a group of personalities from the Albanian academic world in Kosovo, Macedonia and Montenegro.
The Albanian academicians expressed their congratulations on Albania’s historic achievements, especially Albania’s NATO membership and application for the status of the EU candidate country. They also thanked the premier for building the major artery uniting the nation, the Durr쳭Kuk쳠highway.
Berisha said that following Kosovo’s independence, the greatest achievements for Albanians this century, Albania’s NATO membership and the application for the EU candidate status, would serve for peace and stability in the region.
They will speed up development in Albania, but also in Kosovo and the other Albanian territories in the region.
