Academy of Film and Multimedia Marubi screens The Longest Journey

417559_490075354384237_1770410409_nIn cooperation with the Embassy of Israel in Tirana,  Academy of Film and Multimedia Marubi screened The Longest Journey documentary at the seventh edition of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day on January 27. Directed by Ruggero Gabbai and written by Marcello Pezzetti and Liliana Picciotto Fargion, The Longest Journey tells the story of the 2,000 year-old Jewish community of Rhodes that was almost destroyed when more than half of its residents were transported to Auschwitz in 1944. The screening of the 53-minute long historical research was attended by the President of Albania Bujar Nishani, the Ambassador of Israel to Tirana Boaz Rodkin, as well as several well known figures in Albania.
