TIRANA, Jan 12 – The European Commission has adopted the national program for Albania under the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance – Transition Assistance and Institution Building component.
Under this program, the European Community will provide Albania financial assistance up to 60.917 million Euros to support its progress in key issues, such as public administration reform and rule of law enforcement, in particular, as regards good governance and anti-corruption measures. The Community contribution represents 90.69 percent of the total budget allocated to this programme. Other donors and Albania itself will provide co-financing for 9 out of 24 projects.
