TIRANA, Aug. 22 – Police announced Wednesday the nomination of Ajet Ibro at the chief of the traffic police department to replace Koco Simaku.
Ibro, 48, has headed road police department in different districts, then has moved to the interior ministry in the same department.
Ibro takes the job at a difficult moment when top policeman Ahmet Prenci criticized eleven top road policemen of a poor job at a time when road accidents this year have resulted in more death than in previous years.
