TIRANA, April 25 – Interior Minister Bujar Nishani and Danish Ambassador to Tirana, Niels Severin Munk, have signed an agreement on repatriating Albanians who live without formal permission in Denmark.
The agreement also plans steps to simplify the procedures for the issuing of visas.
Albania has signed such an agreement with the European Union, which also became the promoter of visa procedures from the bloc. That agreement must still be signed with individual EU countries before it comes into effect.
Albania also signed the Stabilization and Association Agreement with the EU, considered a first step for a country seeking to become a full member. (Tirana Times Staff)
