Albania increases trade with China

TIRANA, Feb. 2 – Trade exchanges between Albania and China marked a significant rise last year, according to the Institute of Statistics. The data provided by the institute shows trade with China totaled 27.519 billion leks in 2007. Imports from China to Albania were 25.82 billion leks, while Albanian exports to China were 2.437 billion leks. Albania imports from China included equipment, construction material, textiles, metals, shoes, and exported minerals. (Tirana Times Staff)
