Albania-Kosovo movement according to EU standards

TIRANA, May 17 – Albania and Kosovo will apply joint border controls, the same that Albania is doing with Montenegro in northwest.
Head of the Border and Immigration in northeastern Kukes district Agron Baliaj recently announced that on the eve of the tourist season there will also be launched the implementation of an agreement between the two countries on the joint control at entry or exit checking points between Kosovo and Albania.
Construction of the highway in Kosovo and the new bridge that will connect Albania with Kosovo in Vermice will significantly improve the traffic.
Meanwhile Albania has built a new road, a four-lane highway that significantly facilitates the move from the neighboring country.
Kosovo citizens remain a main source of income for tourism in Albania.
Albania and Kosovo movement will be conducted as per European Union standards.
