Albania, Montenegro to deepen ties in judiciary

TIRANA, March 29 – Montenegrin Justice Minister, Miras Radovic, visited Albania to meet with the country’s top officials and also sign a memorandum of understanding with his Albanian counterpart. During the meetings, Albanian officials stressed that reforming the judicial system was fundamental in the country’s efforts to become integrated into NATO and the European Union.
The other major reform required of Albania is in its electoral procedures.
During the meetings, leaders also discussed Kosova and agreed that an independent Kosova will open a new era of peace and stability in the region.(Tirana Times Staff)
