TIRANA, Feb.18 -Albanian Electro-energy Corporation supplied energy to Kosovo throughout the days leading up to, and after, its declaring independence. Almost three million kilowatt hours per day are flowing into Kosovo through Albanian transmission lines. This transmission of energy is part of a commitment made official by the Albanian administration prior to Kosovo announcing its independence. Experts do not expect Serbia to impose any energy blockade on Kosovo because that would harm the entire region and lead to sanctions for Serbia itself.
