Albania realizes only 83.2 percent of investments for 2007

TIRANA, Feb.18 – Even after budget revisions, the Albanian government has not been able to improve its return on realized investments, as it reported a level of 83.2 percent accomplished and a surplus of 137 million dollars. December has been a record month with a return of 43 percent on all investments. Breaking down the investment categories, internally financed investment performed at 94 percent while foreign investment remains a problem with a 50 percent return.
