TIRANA, Feb 9 – Albania refused to sign the declaration of the Southeastern European leaders on the integration into the EU because Kosova was not listed in the document.
The draft-declaration seeks that the region’s EU integration process be among the EU’s priorities.
Tirana said it could not approve a declaration excluding Kosova from the process, said Albanian Integration Minister Majlinda Bregu.
Albania suggested that the document should also call for prompt completion of a feasibility study on the Stabilization and Association Agreement between the EU and Kosova.
