Albanian actor stars in “Sins Expiation”

TIRANA, April 18 – Italian director Carlo Fusco, actors Mario Pupella and Franco Vella were in Tirana this week to launch the premiere of the “Sins Expiation,” where Albanian actor Ervin Bejleri stars along with big names Danny Glover, Michael Madsen e John Savage. The movie featuring Italian Mafia is sowing in Albania’s Imperial Cinemas.
“The special thing in this movie is that when I read the movie script I asked the director if we could include any Albanian bon mots and in fact we did,” says Albanian actor Bejleri who plays a support role in the movie.
“Two ex-gangsters meet on a high speed train in Italy. David Spicuzza, a blind man in his fifties, is torn between the desire to lead a normal life and the reality that binds him to the world of the Mafia. To close all ties with the underworld, from Rome to return to Sicily and during the train journey he meets his father Leonard (Danny Glover), a South African pastor, with whom he discovered to have much in common, the prelate before taking votes was a gangster from San Francisco.”
