TIRANA, Aug. 22 – Shkelqim Sinani was extradited Wednesday from Milan to serve his prison term in his homeland.

Sinani, 40, was sentenced in 1996 to 15 years imprisonment for killing Spartak Habili with a knife. With a group of friends they apparently got drunk and then quarreled with Habili, who died later in hospital from knife wounds.

Sinani had fled prison during the unrest in 1997.
