Albanian extradited from Italy

TIRANA, March 30 – Albania’s Interpol Tirana reported that Arjan Kane was extradited from Milan, Italy last week.
Kane, 38, was sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment in 2007 for trafficking his fiancꥠto Italy where he would exploit her for prostitution.
Another Albanian was also arrested in Italy and the extradition process has started to bring him back home.
Edison Begaj, 29, is wanted for drug trafficking and is accused of transporting hundreds of kilograms of drugs and weapons together with three other people.
Laver Danaj, 63, was also arrested in Italy to be extradited to Albania. He was sentenced to 18 years of imprisonment for murder in 2002.
