Albanian fugitive, other criminals arrested

TIRANA, July 6 – Police arrested Sunday a teenager, it gave no identification other than K.F., 14, after he tried to steal a car in the capital, Tirana. Car theft is a serious problem and concern to police around the country.
Another person, identified as Refat Godolja, 33, was arrested after his car hit a 61-year old woman in Rrogozhina leaving her dead.
Armando Balilaj, 30, was arrested in the capital, Tirana, and accused of producing false documents like identity cards, passports and other ones which he sold.
Elton Nzaeri, 28, was arrested in Polican for deciet and illegal production of false documents. He was persued after he had been previously sentenced to more than two years imprisonment on those charges.
Ibrahim Xhameta, 53, was also arrested for producing false documents. He had been sentenced on that charge to half a year imprisonment and a 100,000 lek fine.
Many other persons were stopped, questioned but then let go after found with false documents while arriving at the Tirana International Airport – Mother Teresa from Italy or Austria.
