TIRANA, April 16 – Albania and Italian musicians are coming together in a classical music concert to raise awareness on the World Hemophilia Day, marking the rare bleeding disorder.

Ten Italian musicians will be joining the Albanian Youth orchestra at a concert scheduled to be held on Friday evening, April 17 at the Orthodox Church in Tirana.

The orchestra which is conducted by Guido Corti will perform parts such as Third Suite of Ancient Airs and Dances by Respighi, the House of the Devil by Boccherini, Beethoven’s First Symphony, and the Overture to the Barber of Seville by Rossini, says the Italian Institute of Culture which is organizing the event.

With this concert, the Youth Orchestra of Albania intends to raise awareness among government officials and all the institutions in Albania on the need to provide patients with the clotting medication that greatly improves the quality of their lives.
