TIRANA, Oct. 21 – This weekend will bring an Albanian monodrama premiere in Tirana’s private Metropol theatre. “Vdekja e nje mbretereshe” (The Death of a Queen), written by Kosovo’s Rexhep Qosja and directed by young talented Inis Gjoni, will bring on stage actress Eni Jani performing the role of queen in her last reigning days, providing retrospective of her successes and failures.
The monodrama will be premiered at the “Cehov” hall of the Metropol theatre starting from October 23. It will also be staged on October 24, 29, 30 and 31 before resuming on November 5.
