ASTI, Italy, Jan 26 – Twenty-two Italians and Albanians were arrested in the Italian town of Asti as part of a crackdown on a drug crime gang.
The investigation had begun one year ago. The group was arrested and accused of trafficking cocaine, weapons and of the exploitation of prostitution in Italy, Albania and Belgium.
Police seized a large amount of cocaine, one thousand watches and a Kalashnikov rifle.
