All top officials sent their letters of condolences to their US counterparts and officially the Foreign Ministry, “ƥxpressed its deep sorrow for the loss of the state’s man, the respected politician, prominent American personality, Senator Edward (Ted) Kennedy.”
A statement said that, “ƴhe Albanian people has seen not only the dedicated and visionary politician, but also a friend of his country, who has contributed to further development and strengthening of the excellent relations existing between our two countries.”
Senator Kennedy has played a tremendous role in the spread of freedom in the world, as a visionary and idealistic man and as a great citizen of his country. Senator Kennedy, a leading personality in the American political scene for decades, was also a man with outstanding contributions not only in the U.S. Senate, but even wider.
Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, laid to rest alongside his slain brothers John and Robert, was remembered as a “veritable force of nature” who worked tirelessly in the Senate for nearly five decades on the causes he cared about deeply.
