TIRANA, Jan. 24 – Mobile operator AMC has invited all mobile users to explore their photographic talent. In the quest to add value to communication and increase its potential, AMC announces the organization for the third year of the competition of pictures taken with mobile handsets.
“Try to face the challenges of shooting with the limitations of phone cameras, learn new angles of looking at the world, and make the most of your skills and technical possibilities offered by the most important tool of today’s communication!”
All your photos taken with mobile handsets can enter the What’s Up photo competition. The top prize will be Apple’s iconic iPhone 4 and the other prizes will include mobile phones with high resolution cameras.
The What’s Up photo competition includes the categories of photojournalism, nature, students’ life, social and other.
All pictures taken with any kind of mobile handsets are welcome but should not be tampered in computers, said AMC.
Last year, the winners were announced during a special ceremony in the Fine Arts Academy. They had the chance to meet professional and amateur photographers and exchange their experiences with the audience of the exhibition.
All entries should be sent via e-mail at pics@amc.al. The best entries will be showcased in an exhibition for the general audience.
