TIRANA, Dec. 3 – Andi Nallbani is featuring his first exhibition at the Zeta art gallery with a series of selected works from his 15 years of creativity. In his “Apnea” exhibition, the contemporary artist showcases his views on the existential question marks and the environment surrounding his everyday life.
“The childhood as a dimension and his human relations viewed through meditation and irony, are conveyed through pictorial metaphors, sometimes grouped in the form of a diary and elsewhere isolated to stress to the maximum their almost iconographic meaning,” organizers say.
Apnea, a condition in which somebody stops breathing temporarily, is a spiritual and physical condition experienced by the artist both when admiring a universal truth which can leave one speechless and in examining the social and cultural reality where the real spiritual breathing becomes almost impossible.
The exhibition at the Zeta gallery in Tirana will be open until December 15.
