Balkan police to hold judo championship in Tirana

TIRANA, March 6 – Police and Olympic authorities met Tuesday to discuss on the management of the Balkan police judo championship which is to be held in Tirana May 28-31 this year, the first time to be held in Albania. Participants will be policemen from Albania, Greece, Serbia, Rumania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Macedonia and Turkey. Judo Federation president Marius Vizer is also expected to participate in the event. Vizer has also offered an aid of 20,000 euro for the Albanian police. That money is to be spent for the training of judo team members.
