Bankers Petroleum donates equipment to Fier children’s hospital

FIER, June 12 – Bankers Petroleum Albania Ltd. donated $24,000 worth of medical equipment for the Intensive Care Unit of the Pediatric Hospital of Fier. The equipment consists of oxygen regulators, reanimation beds, electrocardiogram machines, EKG monitors, defibrillator, air-conditioners, several beds and other items.
The Minister of Health, Nard Ndoka, President of Bankers Petroleum Albania, Suneel Gupta, Mayor of Fier, Baftjar Zeqaj, General Director of Albpetrol, Ylli Gjoni, and other representatives of the city government and local community were present at the inauguration ceremony.
Bankers Petroleum Albania is committed to help improve the life of the local community in the areas where it develops its business. The focus lies in areas like infrastructure, health and education, said a statement.
In the last two years, Bankers Albania has been involved in several community activities, such as the refurbishment of the kindergarten next to its offices in Fier, the donation of 100 desks for a school in Kuman Commune, and other projects.
