TIRANA, Feb. 29 – Prime Minister Sali Berisha met last Friday with European Parliament lawmakers from Germany and the chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Elmar Brok.
Berisha told Brok that Albania is focused on two major goals, EU and NATO integration, and is working for implementation of all the necessary reforms that the integration process requires.
The premier spoke about the achievements of the government in the fight against crime and corruption, the favorable business climate and investments, facilitation of the fiscal barrier, the fight against informality, increasing transparency and efficiency in administrative procedures as well as the reforms undertaken in many other fields.
He added that at the moment the government is focused on the judicial and electoral reform.
