TIRANA, April 15 – Prime Minister Sali Berisha will practically be out of the country this entire month.
He starts with a five-day trip to China to follow with another in France and then to Prague, Czech Republic to hand over the formal application to the EU rotating presidency for the candidate status. He is also likely to visit Brussels for the same reason.
That means there will be few electoral trips for the premier and he is to be replaced by his ministers, lawmakers and other politicians all around the country, something already noted these days while he is still here.
NATO office in Tirana raises Albania, Croatia flags
TIRANA, April 15 – the NATO office in Tirana held Wednesday a formal ceremony to raise the flags of Albania and Croatia, its two new members.
The ceremony was organized by the NATO office with the presence of senior Albanian civil and military officials, and also diplomats.
Albania and Croatia became new NATO members on April 1st taking its number to 28.
